Paul Fleschner is a producer and director, known for The Drunk (2014), Search (2003) and Piercing the Veil (2017). He has been married to Alison Fleschner since September 27, 2013.
Paul's father, Steve Fleschner, is partner in a successful Indiana law firm, while his mother, Kathy, is a retired school teacher. Paul's two sisters are also lawyers, Kristin Fleschner having won a Dean's Award at Harvard Law School, and Katie Fleschner was on law review at Michigan State. Paul's brother, Tim Fleschner, is a marketing executive. The four Fleschner siblings have moved on from Indiana, but remain Hoosiers at heart -- making it back to the Midwest to see family on a regular basis. During high school he twice rented the local movie theater to screen his student films to the public. In college he continued making films, while studying writing with the prolific novelist Reynolds Price at Duke University. Paul also produced the feature documentary Piercing the Veil, a spiritual journey about his Uncle Larry's experience with terminal colon cancer -- and his family's response to suffering and loss. Paul is known to have an active interest in Carmelite spirituality and the Sisters of Providence. Paul's uncle, Larry Fleschner, became very close with the nun Marie Kevin Tighe, S.P., and their spiritual friendship plays out in Paul's documentary "Piercing the Veil". Paul and wife, Alison have a Pekepoo named Peanut.
